Six by Three (Meme)
Mary of Owl Haven made an open invitation to join in the following meme, which I thought looked interesting.
Six Things I Value
1. The gift of God’s unconditional love, and the sacrifice of his only son on my (sinful, undeserving) behalf.
2. My family.
3. The many freedoms we enjoy in the United States, which are often taken for granted.
4. Truthfulness.
5. Books.
6. Quiet time to myself at the end of the day, so that I can recharge and be “on” again tomorrow.
Six Things I Don’t Support
1. Abortion.
2. Lying.
3. Big government.
4. The morals and values of today’s society, which, frankly, are in the toilet (for example, just turn on the television for five minutes as evidence of our nation’s obsession with sex).
5. The media’s biased and inaccurate reporting.
6. Temperatures in the mid-80’s in the middle of October; even after living in Texas for 9 years, this is just not something I can get behind.

Uh, I could basically just copy your list! Weird, but I guess we pick people who share our values for friends most of the time, don’t we? I’m going to try complete this and a few other memes for next week (goals! I haz them!).
